Firecrackers and bread
Böller und Brot is a German artist group and production company from Stuttgart . It consists of the filmmakers Sigrun Köhler and Wiltrud Baier. Her documentary films, video works and flip books have been honored with numerous prizes and grants, including the 2012 Grimme Prize for the documentary Alarm am Hauptbahnhof - On the streets of Stuttgart 21 .
In 2004 they realized the 1st International Flip Cinema Festival at Akademie Schloss Solitude .
Sigrun Köhler and Wiltrud Baier studied at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in Ludwigsburg after Köhler completed an apprenticeship as a master printer in Schwäbisch Hall and Baier in Munich an apprenticeship as a confectioner .
