A show (from English: let see, show ; dt. Show, performance, demonstration ) is an event with an entertainment, and sometimes also an informational character.

Occurrence

It usually takes place in front of an audience and is often broadcast on radio (see radio show ) and television (see television show ). It is presented by a moderator , if the information master, or show master , if the entertainment part predominates. Apart from the fashion show , the Anglicism “show” is usually used. In English, however, the word show more generally refers to any television program ( The Simpsons is one of the longest-running shows in history ).
