Bürgerbüro is a Swiss sitcom with 13 episodes that was broadcast on Swiss television in 2002 . It revolves around a small Swiss town in which a citizens' office is being set up. The mayor wants to sabotage the activity of the citizens' office by appointing a leader who has no assertiveness.
background
The production of the sitcom was stopped after one season because SF DRS had already decided before filming began to forego producing its own sitcoms in the future for cost reasons, although they were very popular with the audience and achieved market shares of over 40%. The author writes on his website:
“It was thought that the series should have been a first step towards further developing the sitcom genre on Swiss television. No studio audience as a backdrop for laughter and clapping, a cinematic resolution with only one instead of the usual four cameras. I'll never know if the audience would have accepted this new form over time. The thirteen episodes have been sent out, as they are hideously called in the television industry, and they are now probably in the archives forever. Filed probably under the letter N.
