Schöni Uussichte is a Swiss sitcom with 26 episodes that was broadcast on Swiss television from 2005 to 2007 . It is about Swiss people trying their luck on Mallorca . The «Hotel Buenavista» serves as the backdrop.

The company Videcom produced two seasons on behalf of SF DRS in their studio in Oberuster. After the second season, the series was discontinued despite the high level of audience interest (market share over 30%) because Swiss television did not use the “sitcom” format. The cast and crew then shot an extra episode in their free time instead of publicly mourning the end of the series: episode 27 with the title Un fin with horror . The series was on Friday evening at 20.00 on SF 1 broadcast.

- Martina Schütze as Sophie Müller: Sophie is the manager of the Hotel Buenavista. She strictly adheres to the rules that were taught to her during her studies as a business economist .
- Leonardo Nigro as Carlos Rodriguez: Carlos is Sophie Müller's deputy. He is a charming macho who can never completely ignore the fact that a woman from Switzerland has been put in front of his nose.
- Pia Hänggi as Nelly Traber: Nelly wants to spend her old age on the sunny island with her husband Hugo. Looking for a suitable home, they stay at the Hotel Buenavista.
- Fred Strittmatter as Hugo Traber: Nelly's husband tries again and again to convince his wife of Mallorca's adversity. But he doesn't want to travel back alone because he loves his wife more than anything.
- Anouschka Renzi as Kiki: Kiki is an ex- model who never understood why she was put on the sidelines. She claims that she stopped modeling on her own, but the reality is that she just stopped getting jobs. She therefore traveled to Mallorca to take some time off and then reappear as a shining star in the German media.
- Martin Schick as Johannes “Juanito” Merkli: Juanito is a waiter at the Hotel Buenavista. He is very leisurely and keeps forgetting what he was asked to do.
