Bürgermeista (real name Roland Bürger ) is a Munich musician.

Career

Roland Bürger comes from Grüntegernbach near Dorfen, northeast of Munich, and is known as a guitarist in various formations. As a studio musician, he played among others, Tom Novy's Welcome to the Race the guitar and record music for television stations.

In 2008 Bürger wrote the song Locker macha in Bavarian dialect. He recorded it as a reggae song with professional studio colleagues and sent it to several radio stations. In the summer of 2009, the presenter of Munich's largest local radio station discovered the song for his morning show and then played it regularly on his show from June 23, 2009 at the request of the listeners. The song was Amazon's number 1 download in the Reggae & Ska category ; other local media took notice. After a short time, Roland Bürger received a recording contract as mayista with 313music JWP and a video was shot. The song was released on CD on August 21, 2009 and immediately entered the German single charts. In the second week, during the Munich Oktoberfest , the local hit even climbed into the top 40, and it was able to stay in the hit parade for a total of 7 weeks.

This was followed by further publication, from 2010 with an accompanying band as the mayista & the local councils . In June 2010 the first album with the title "Wahl" went on sale.
