Bürstel (Stuhr)

Bürstel is a district of the municipality of Stuhr in the district of Diepholz in Lower Saxony .

geography

Bürstel is located directly on the main road K110, via which the place can be easily reached via the motorway exit of the federal motorway 1 at Groß Mackenstedt. In addition, like Eggese and Siek, Bürstel is part of Heiligenrode , which was incorporated into the Stuhr municipality in 1974.

The Klosterbach or Varreler Bäke lies east of Bürstel and is the only river in the vicinity of Bürstel.

Agriculture

A lot of agriculture is done in and around Bürstel. In the past, maize , rye or barley were grown annually in most fields , but in recent years mainly maize for the production of biogas .

particularities

Every year, the open-air youth party takes place on the festival site in Bürstel in summer. This will not take place in 2020 due to COVID-19. You can also take part in hot air balloon rides in summer and spring.
