The steam locomotive series kkStB 63 was a tank locomotive series of the kk Staatsbahnen (kkStB), whose locomotives originally came from the kk priv. Crown Prince Rudolf-Bahn (KRB).

history

In 1874 the KRB procured ten copies of these triple-coupled tank locomotives for light service. They were supplied by the Swiss Locomotive and Machine Factory . The locomotives had internal frames and external controls.

At KRB they were given the company numbers 110–128 (only even numbers occupied) and the names TERGLOU , MANGART , DRAU , BUCHSTEIN , RAIBL , LAUSSA , SPARAFELD , LUGAUER , JOHNSBACH and GESÄUSE .

At the kkStB, the KRB machines were initially designated as 6301–6310, and from 1905 the remaining locomotives were designated as 63.02, 04–07.

After the First World War , three more copies came to the Austrian Federal Railways , which they retired by 1930.
