The Billard-Bianco-Verein Mannheim 1987 e. V. , BBV Mannheim for short , is a billiard club from Mannheim . The first team of the club, founded in 1987, played for three years in the 1st Bundesliga and twice won the German 8-Ball Cup (1991, 1992).

The BBV Mannheim was founded in June 1987 and from autumn of the same year took part in the games of the North Baden pool billiards association. In its first season, the club rose endlessly in both 8-ball and 14/1 in the association league. In the following season he won the Association Cup North Baden in March 1989 and secured promotion to the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in the league at the end of the season. In 1991 the club hosted the German 8-Ball Cup and won the competition by beating PBC Köln-Süd in the final . At the end of the 1990/91 season, the team around the former European team champion Uwe Sander rose to the 2nd Bundesliga South for the first time .
In its first second division season, the BBV managed to march through to the 1st Bundesliga . In the final of the German 8-Ball Cup in 1992, the Mannheimers succeeded in defending their title against PBC Frankfurt . After three years in the first division, the club was relegated to the second division in 1995. In the same year he moved into the cup final for the third time, in which he now had to admit defeat to PC Mörfelden .
After a temporary relegation to lower leagues, the Mannheimers managed to return to the fourth-class league in 2004. On third place in the 2004/05 season followed with sixth place in the 2005/06 season, but again relegated to the association league. The Mannheim team then stayed twice in the association league before relegating them to the sixth division in 2009. After four years in the national league, the club achieved promotion to the association league in the 2012/13 season with first place. Another four years later he rose again from the state league.
