The BCF Wolfratshausen is a sports club from the Upper Bavarian city ​​of Wolfratshausen . In addition to the successful football department, the club also offers tennis , dance , badminton , table tennis , gymnastics and volleyball . It has around 1,400 members.

history

The club was founded in 1957 as the leisure football club BC Farchet in the Wolfratshausen suburb of Farchet . In 1961 he was accepted into the Bavarian Football Association . The then cadre included the law student and later Bavarian Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber . It was only forty years after its founding that the club and its football department made a national appearance when it rose continuously from the district league to the Bayern league between 2000 and 2004 . There, however, the sporting performance was not sufficient and the club was relegated again in the first year . It was not until the league reform in 2012 that the club was reclassified to the Bayernliga-Süd.

For the 2018/19 season, the club was relegated to the Bayern-Südwest regional league , but was unable to stay in the league during the season and, after two relegation games against TV Erkheim (3: 1/4: 3), moved into the Oberbayern-Süd district league from.
