The HB 1000 is a two - cylinder four- stroke boxer engine with an output of 44 kW (60 hp) at a speed of 5400 min –1 . It is air-cooled and has two carburettors as well as a silencer and a rear silencer .

use

The motor is built into the Ikarus C22 . In this microlight aircraft , the propeller is driven by a type C gearbox from BRP-Rotax with a reduction of 3.5: 1. The propeller is a 68 "warp drive with four blades made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic .
