School profile
The BRG 14 includes both a science-oriented secondary school as well as a modern language-oriented grammar school . It was one of the first schools in Austria to open bilingual classes in which many subjects are taught in both English and German. This method, known internationally as CLIL , has also been used as VBS ( Vienna Bilingual Schooling ) since 2012 , a very popular project managed by the City School Council for Vienna .
Cooperation school of the University of Vienna
The BRG 14 was certified as a cooperation school of the University of Vienna for the period 2014-2018 . The close cooperation between school and university is realized through research work, particularly in the areas of bilingualism and subject didactics in the natural sciences.
