The BSG Aufbau Aue-Bernsbach was a company sports association from Bernsbach in the Karl-Marx-Stadt district . After the sports club Saxonia Bernsbach was dissolved in 1945 by order of the Allied Control Authority according to the Control Council Act No. 2 of October 10, 1945 and Directive No. 23 of December 17, 1945, the unofficial successor club, SG Bernsbach , was founded. In 1951, the SG Bernbach went through the entrance of the sports body structure and the local carrier operation Bauunion Aue in the BSG building Aue-Bernbach on.

For the 1953/54 season, the BSG Aue-Bernsbach rose for the first time in the district league Karl-Marx-Stadt and stayed there until the 1956 season. For the 1958 season, the team from Bernsbach rose again to the district league and also took part in the FDGB - Cup 1958 . In the first round of the FDGB Cup , the team met SC Einheit Dresden and was eliminated from the competition with a 1: 3 defeat. In 1963, the Erzgebirge reached the Karl-Marx-Städter district finals again, which the team lost to HSG Wissenschaft Freiberg . For the 1972/73 season, the club rose from the district league.
