From 1948, sports in the Soviet occupation zone were reorganized on the basis of company sports associations (BSG) . In the municipality of Heiddorf , which has 800 inhabitants , several state- owned companies (VEB) joined forces to found the "BSG of VEB Heiddorf". Football developed into the most important section, and it determined the image of the BSG in the following years.

The football team of the Heiddorfer BSG started in the 1949/50 season in the third-class Mecklenburg district class. In this four-track league, second place was achieved in Season West / 2. At the same time, the BSG qualified for the GDR-wide soccer cup competition ( FDGB Cup ) 1949/50. In the first main round, BSG Heiddorf met first division club BSG Lokomotive Stendal and surprisingly won 5: 2 in their own stadium. Also in the 2nd main round the Heiddofers had home advantage again and had to compete against the second division team ZSG Burg . After a clear 0: 7, the Mecklenburg team lost the cup.

In 1950, central sports associations were founded in GDR sports, to which the company sports associations were subordinated, separated according to trade union areas. The company sports associations were named after their responsible sports association. Since the VEB Braunkohlenbergwerk Malliß had emerged as the sponsoring company for the Heiddorfer , the Heiddorfer soccer team started the 1950/51 season under the new name "BSG Aktivist". After the introduction of the second-rate GDR league, the Mecklenburg district class was now only the 4th league and was held in two seasons. The BSG activist had been placed in the west relay and reached number three there. In 1951/52 Heiddorf fell back to ninth place among twelve teams.

In the summer of 1952, the states in the GDR were dissolved and replaced by districts . This forced GDR football to adapt its league system to the new administrative structure, and so the district system was introduced there too. In the course of the political administrative reform, Heiddorf lost its independence and was incorporated into the neighboring town of Neu Kaliss. Thereupon the previous BSG activist Heiddorf took on the name "BSG activist Heiddorf / Neu Kaliss-Malliss", which is bulky for public reporting, also with reference to the sponsoring company. Since Neu Kaliss came under the administration of the Schwerin district, the footballers of the BSG Aktivist played in the fourth-class Schwerin district class in the 1952/53 season. In the single-track league with only ten teams, activist achieved first place and promotion to the district league . This was the reason to give the BSG a media-effective name, and so it went into the district league season 1953/54 with its soccer team as "BSG activist Neu Kaliss-Malliss" without Heiddorf in the name. The higher league was mastered without adjustment difficulties and ranked eighth among twelve teams. In 1954/55, eleventh place was just enough to stay in the league. In the fall of 1955, a transition round was held in GDR football to switch to the calendar year game rhythm, in which twelve games were played in the Schwerin district league. With 13 teams involved, the BSG Aktivist achieved another disappointing result with eleventh place.

Since the end of the lignite works was now in sight, the BSG Aktivist changed the carrier company in 1956 and the LPG Neu Kaliss took over the management of the BSG, which took on the name "Tractor Neu Kaliss-Malliss". There was no sporting improvement, however, and so at the end of the 1956 season the tractor drivers were relegated from the district league, which was now only fourth-rate due to the introduction of the 2nd GDR league . This was followed by four seasons in the Schwerin district class, and it was not until 1960 that he was promoted to the district league again. For the 1961/62 season (return to the summer-spring season) the BSG dropped the no longer applicable addition “Malliss”. With effort and the penultimate place the district league membership was secured, a year later with the last place and only one victory in 22 point games, the repeated relegation from the district league. The soccer team was then logged off from the game. In other sports, too, the BSG Traktor Neu Kaliss did not reach the district level.
