Baby Arizmendi
Baby Arizmendi (* 17th March 1914 in Torreón , Coahuila , Mexico , † 31 December 1962 ) was a Mexican boxer in the featherweight .
professional
He went undefeated in his first 12 fights. On August 30th in 1934 he defeated the American Mike Belloise over 15 rounds by unanimous decision and was thereby world champion of the former association NYSAC . at the same time he was also regarded as a universal world champion. However, he got rid of this title the following year.
In 2004 Arizmendi was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame .
