Backtechnik europe magazine was founded in 2001 by BackMedia Verlagsgesellschaft mbH. In 2014 BackMedia Verlagsgesellschaft mbH was merged with Inger Verlagsgesellschaft.
Prizes awarded
Backtechnik europe magazine presents the Backtechnik iba Award for technical innovations at the IBA, the world's leading trade fair for baking, which takes place every three years.
In addition, the trade magazine annually awards the "Production Company of the Year" with a particularly innovative or unusual business or production concept.
Partnerships
Backtechnik is the official organ of the Association of the Baking Industry (VDB) . The purchase of Backtechnik europe for all VDB members is connected to the tax group. Furthermore Backtechnik also the official organ of the European United Bakers Association Association Internationale de la Boulangerie Industrielle (AIBI).
