Bad Candy (dt bad candy.) Was a Dutch pop - band . They are known for their TV show Bad Candy was here and their first single Girls just wanna have fun .

Emergence
The band initially consisted of five members: Stefanie Salmon (drums), Janneke Nijhuijs (bass / background), Chantal van Brummelen (guitar / background), Else Merit Schreuer (vocals) and Ryanne van Dorst (guitar). Since Ryanne and Else Merit didn't want to take part in Bad Candy anymore because of all the stress around the band, Chantal, Stefanie and Janneke decided to continue. But when the band members Janneke and Chantal were in London for Christmas shopping in December 2004, they discovered the singer Natalie James from Glasgow in Scotland. She decided to move from the UK to the Netherlands to join the band.

Bad Candy was here is a show that started on November 6, 2005 on the children's channel NICK in Germany . It is in part a reality - and partly a spectacle - show . With the series, Bad Candy fans can accompany the band members on their way to fame. Bad Candy became known in Germany primarily through this show .

On September 23, 2006, Bad Candy announced that after much deliberation, they had decided to split up. The reasons for this are, among other things, that Natalie James (singer) as well as the guitarist Chantal van Brummelen want to continue or start their solo career.
