Architecture and history
The transformer station was built in brick in 1941 as a 50 kV system based on a design by the Halle office of Albrecht & Troitzsch . On top of the transformer house is a small tower top, closed with spheres. In 1942 an expansion took place. A residential building was built, the facades of which are also made of brick. The residential building is connected to the transformer building by means of an intermediate building that includes the entrance gate designed as a basket arch .
The transformer building is no longer used as a substation today. A little further to the northwest a new substation was built.
