The Bagley Icefield (sometimes also Bagley Ice Valley ) in Alaska extends in the core area of ​​the Saint Elias Mountains and parts of the Chugach Mountains and is the largest contiguous glacier ice field outside of the polar regions.

It feeds several dozen glaciers and covers a total area of ​​around 5200 km².

It was named after James W. Bagley, a USGS - topographer , the Bagley-T-3 camera developed and Alaska before the First World War mapped.

The ice field is located in the reserve of the Wrangell-St.-Elias National Park .
