Berlin Gehrenseestrasse is a stop of the Berlin S-Bahn in the Berlin district of Neu-Hohenschönhausen .

history

The stop between the Springpfuhl and Hohenschönhausen S-Bahn stations was given the working title Garden City because the Garden City of Hohenschönhausen is to the west of the station. It has a simple central platform, half of which is covered. Access is only at the southern end from the Gehrenseebrücke. When it opened on December 20, 1984, the station only had the western track, the second track was added with the extension of the S-Bahn line to Wartenberg on December 20, 1985.
