The Fürth (Odenw) station is the station of Fuerth in Hesse .

history

In 1895 the station was opened as the terminus of the Weschnitz Valley Railway, which connects Fürth with the Weinheim station (Bergstrasse) . The station building is a type building that was built north of the route. It is a cultural monument according to the Hessian Monument Protection Act and is therefore under monument protection . The station used to have two platform tracks, one of which was removed over the years, along with the other side tracks.

Today is operationally but only one breakpoint of category  6. The remaining platform was around 2010 renewed and with the visually impaired provided.

A regional train runs every half hour, on weekends or every hour during off-peak hours .

There is a small bus station in front of the reception building . From here regional buses go to the Odenwald .
