Forum is an underground metro station in the Danish city of Frederiksberg , which is surrounded by the Danish capital Copenhagen . The station is served by lines M1 and M2 of the Copenhagen metro system . It is located below the Forum exhibition hall .
The station opened on May 29, 2003 for the newly built subway section Nørreport-Frederiksberg. There are transfer options to various bus routes.
Initially, plans provided for the new " Cityringen " ring line, which is currently being planned, to be led over the station, which would mean that the station would have to be converted into an underground junction station . However, the planners opted for the other route, which includes the intersection with the existing metro network at Frederiksberg station .
