Frederiksberg is an underground metro station in the Danish city ​​of Frederiksberg , which is near the Danish capital, Copenhagen . The station is served by lines M1 and M2 of the Copenhagen metro system .

The station was opened on December 13, 1986 for the S-tog line Vanløse - Frederiksberg. The operation was terminated in favor of the underground on June 20, 1998 and after the construction work was converted to the underground line. The current station was opened on October 12, 2003 for the newly built subway section Frederiksberg – Vanløse. The station is underground, the old station was above ground. There are transfer options to various bus routes.

On September 29, 2019, Cityringen was opened with the new M3 line, which provides a direct connection to Copenhagen Central Station.
