The Monza Sobborghi station ( Italian : Stazione di Monza Sobborghi ) is a breakpoint in the northern Italian city of Monza . It lies on the Monza – Molteno railway line and is operated by RFI .
The station was opened in 1911 as the terminus of the private local railway Monza – Molteno , which was operated from 1954 by the Ferrovie dello Stato . Since then, the trains on the route have departed from Monza station .
In the 1990s the station was downgraded to a stop and the sidings were dismantled.
