The Ružomberok Station ( Železničná stanica Ružomberok ) is a railway station in the Slovak town of Ruzomberok . The double- track Košice – Žilina railway runs through the station . From 1908 to 1974 it was the starting point of the Ružomberok – Korytnica narrow-gauge railway .
The station is located on the Pan-European Corridor No. Va ( Bratislava - Žilina - Košice - Uzhhorod - Kiev ).

The train station is on the right bank of the Waag on the border with Likavka and can be reached from the city via a bridge. There is a connection to the city's public transport network.
history
The station was opened by the Kaschau-Oderberger Bahn (KsOd) on December 8, 1871.
The railway infrastructure of the station is now owned by the Železnice Slovenskej republiky (ŽSR). The trains are operated by Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko (ZSSK). The station building and the water tower are now a listed building.
