The Varese Nord train station ( Italian : Stazione di Varese Nord ) is one of two important train stations in the northern Italian city of Varese . It is operated by the Ferrovienord company.
The station is on the Saronno – Laveno railway line and was opened in 1885.

The station is a few meters north of Varese station , which is owned by the state rail company RFI .
