List of train stations in Poland |
The Wisła Głębce station is a station in the Polish town of Wisła in the Silesian Beskid . It is the southernmost station on the Goleszów – Wisła Głębce railway line . It was put into operation on September 11, 1933. The Głębce railway bridge is located directly in front of the station .
A brick building with a waiting room and ticket office was erected at the station. The stationmaster's apartment was on the first floor, and the waiting room was on the platform side. Next to the station there was a warehouse with a ramp that was demolished after the Second World War .
In 2008 the freight traffic ended. On March 1, 2010, ticket sales ceased. In 2015 the building was renovated.
The station has three low platforms, one of which is an island platform. Two of the four tracks end with a buffer stop, while the other two lead further south and have a switch connection there. The track was planned for an extension of the line via Istebna and Koniaków to Zwardoń .
Over the years the station has been renamed several times:
- Głębce (1933-1937)
- Wisła Głębce (1937-1939)
- Vistula Glembce (1939–1943)
- Vistula Glebce (1943–1945)
- Wisła Głębce (1945–)
