Unterbalbach train station is a living space that has opened up at the eponymous former Unterbalbach train station in the suburb of Lauda-Königshofen, Unterbalbach in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .

The abandoned living space at the Unterbalbach train station is located about 400 meters west of Unterbalbach on the left edge of the Taubertal near the former Unterbalbach train station .
history
On the table sheet No. 6424 "Königshofen" from 1881 the place was recorded as a station .
The living space came to the city of Lauda-Königshofen as part of the formerly independent community of Unterbalbach on January 1, 1975, when the city of Lauda merged with the city of Königshofen and the community of Unterbalbach as part of the regional reform in Baden-Württemberg .
