Wittighausen train station a living space that has opened up at the name-giving stop or the former Wittighausen train station in the suburb of Unterwittighausen in the Wittighausen community in the Main-Tauber district in the Franconian north-east of Baden-Württemberg .

Wittighausen train station is on the outskirts of Unterwittighausen in the direction of Oberwittighausen in the Wittigbachtal . The Wittigbach arises about 500 meters in front of the residential area as the confluence of the Schafbach and Seebach at the Grenzmühle residential area
history
The Wittighausen train station residential area came to the newly founded Wittighausen community on September 1, 1971 as part of the formerly independent community of Unterwittighausen.
Cultural monuments
The station building at Bahnhofstrasse 6 is a listed building . It is a two-storey main building with two flanking side wings, symmetrical structure through cornices, pilaster strips and profiled segmented arched windows and doors. The main building has a gable roof and side wings with a hip roof. The station building was erected in 1865 together with the annex.
