The Wittighausen station , operational today only one breakpoint , including over control center , the railway station of the municipality Wittighausen in Main-Tauber-Kreis in Baden-Wuerttemberg . It is on the Osterburken – Würzburg-Heidingsfeld railway line and belongs to the Unterwittighausen district . The reception building of the former train station , which was erected in 1865 together with ancillary buildings, is located at Bahnhofstrasse 6 by the surrounding residential area at the Wittighausen train station and is now privately owned.

Monument protection

The station building is a listed building . It is a two-storey main building with two flanking side wings, symmetrically structured by cornices, pilaster strips and profiled segmented arched windows and doors. The main building has a gable roof and the side wings each have a hipped roof.
