The former Reicholzheim train station , now just a stop , is located on the Lauda – Wertheim railway line . The access site is its name to the surrounding residential space station Reicholzheim within the boundaries of the Wertheimer hamlet Reicholzheim .

history

The main features of the historic station building erected in 1868 have been preserved to this day. On December 31, 1987, the station ended and the staff was withdrawn. The building is now privately inhabited. On January 18, 1988, the level crossing was converted to a fully automatic control system and the points to track 1 with the signals were expanded. The remaining track systems remained in place. In 1995, track 1 was expanded and the station and platform were sold. Track 2 was built with a continuous main track and a new access from the street with a platform and a small bus shelter. In 2019 the platform was increased to 55 cm, a new bus shelter, new information guidance systems and new lighting were added.
