Railway stations in Baden-Württemberg |
The Unterschüpf station is the former station of Unterschüpf , a district of Boxberg in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg . It lies on the Mosbach-Neckarelz-Würzburg railway line . The reception building is located at Tottenheimer Straße 6 in Unterschüpf.
history
The station was built in 1860. Further outbuildings followed in the second half of the 19th century. The still preserved station building in Unterschüpf is privately owned. The station has not been served since 1985, and the operating site was subsequently closed. The district council of the Main-Tauber district as well as the Boxberg municipal council have so far unsuccessfully called for the renovation and recommissioning of the disused stop in Unterschüpf with various resolutions in the 21st century.
Monument protection
The station is a listed building . The station building is a solid construction with a hipped roof and central projectile. The station building has a segmented three-way arcade and was built around the year 1860. Another railway house is also a solid building with richly carved three-way opening in the wood-clad top floor. This was created in the second half of the 19th century. To the southwest of the reception building there is a freight hall as a timber frame construction with cover formwork and a gable roof. This was built around 1865. All parts of the building of the station are listed as a whole in the monuments book of the state of Baden-Württemberg.
