The Baranovsky – Chassan railway is an approximately 240 km long stretch of the Dalnewostochnaja schelesnaja doroga (Far Eastern Railway) within the Rossijskije schelesnyje dorogi (RŽD, Russian Railways). It leads from the Transsib near Baranowski in a southerly direction along the Pacific coast to the North Korean border near Chassan . Its continuation is the Chassan – Rajin railway line .

The route is mainly used by regional trains that connect the places on the route with Ussuriysk , where there is a connection to the Trans-Siberian Railway and to the regional centers of Vladivostok and Khabarovsk . Every 14 days a long-distance train from Moscow to the North Korean capital Pyongyang passes the route.
