The Baie des Gémeaux ( French for Bay of Twins ) is a bay in the Géologie archipelago off the coast of the East Antarctic Adélieland . It lies between the Île du Lion and the Île des Pétrels .
French scientists named it based on the names of the two islands Îlot Castor and Îlot Pollux , which are located in this bay and are named after the twin pair Kastor and Pollux from Greek mythology .
