The Baillieu Peak is a 1380 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises 40 km south of Cape Bruce and 16 km west-southwest of Pearce Peak from the Antarctic continental ice.
It was discovered in February 1931 by participants in the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (BANZARE, 1929-1931) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson . It is named after the Australian businessman Clive Latham Baillieu (1889–1967), a sponsor of the research trip .
