Bakaye Traoré (born March 6, 1985 in Bondy ) is a Malian - French football player who has been under contract with Bursaspor since June 2014 .

Career

Club career

Bakaye Traoré grew up in Sevran near Paris . In 2004 Traoré played his first game for SC Amiens in Ligue 2 . In the following seasons he completed a total of 106 league games, in which he scored 15 goals for the club before moving to AS Nancy for the 2009/10 season. There he received a three-year contract and was number 12.

For the 2012/13 season , Traoré moved to AC Milan . He signed a three-year contract through June 30, 2015.

On September 5, 2013, Traoré moved to Kayseri Erciyesspor on loan . After the end of the loan period, he was signed for three years by the Turkish first division club Bursaspor .

National team

Since 2009 he has also played for the Malian national team . Traoré, who also has French citizenship, made his debut on February 11, 2009 in an away game against Angola , which was won 4-0. Since then, he has made 21 appearances for Mali, scoring two goals. He was also part of the Aigles ' squad for the 2010 Africa Cup in Angola , but couldn't get past a 57-minute mission in the first group game.
