The Bakers Brook is a 9 km long river in western Newfoundland in Gros Morne National Park .
River course
Bakers Brook is located in the south of the Great Northern Peninsula on the west coast of Newfoundland. The river drains the 110 m high Bakers Brook Pond to the Gulf of Saint Lawrence . It flows in a predominantly westerly direction from the Long Range Mountains to the sea. Bakers Brook Falls ( ⊙ ) is located at river km 7.5 . The waterfall can be reached from the Berry Hill campground via a 5 km long hiking trail. Route 430 crosses the river about 500 m above the estuary . The settlement of the same name Bakers Brook is located on the coast south of the estuary . The catchment area covers about 135 km².
