The Balaclava River is a river in the southwest of the Australian state of Tasmania .

geography

The river has its source on the southern slopes of Last Hill in the southwest corner of Cradle Mountain Lake St. Clair National Park . From there it flows southeast to the Lyell Highway , where it forms the Collingwood River together with the Patons River .
