Baljåsen is 301 m ö.h. the highest mountain in the historic Swedish province of Dalsland . It is located in the province of Västra Götalands län , in the municipality of Åmål , between the scattered settlement Edsleskog and the Dalboredden valley , in the Baljåsen nature reserve .
There is a resting place and a lookout point on Baljåsen. A path leads to the summit from the southeast. The soil on Baljåsen is also very calcareous, which is why plants such as St. Christopher's herb and woodruff are numerous there.
