Baljasna ( Ukrainian Балясне ; Russian Балясное Балясное ) is a village in the Ukrainian Poltava Oblast with about 950 inhabitants (2004).
The village, founded in 1782, is located on the banks of the 17 km long Harahanka River ( Гараганка ) and on the territorial roads T-17-18 and T-17-33 . Baljasna is the administrative center of a district municipality in the west of the Dykanka district and is located about 40 km northwest of the Poltava oblast center and 16 km west of the Dykanka district center . The 44.322 km² district council also includes the villages Martschenky ( Марченки ⊙ ) with about 160 inhabitants and Popiwka ( Попівка ⊙ ) with about 50 inhabitants.
