Ballymore Lower
The portal Tomb of Ballymore Lower ( Irish: An Baile Mór Íochtarach ) is near the road N 56, about four kilometers north of Creeslough, south of the hamlet of Portnablagh with a view of the Muckish Mountain ( Irish : An Mhucais , German "pig's back" ) in the county Donegal in Ireland .
In the British Isles, portal tombs are megalithic systems in which two equally high, upright stones with a door stone in between form the front of a chamber, which is covered with a sometimes huge capstone.
The classification is vague due to the disordered condition. Only two large stones and a smaller one are preserved. The large rounded stone was the capstone. The stone below could be a side stone or the end stone. The upright orthostat could be one of the portal stones.
The Errarooey Beg , Greenhill and Muntermellan megalithic sites are nearby .
