Bamenohl nature reserve

Bamenohl is a 2.1 hectare nature reserve in the municipality of Finnentrop in the Olpe district in North Rhine-Westphalia . It is located northeast of the Lenne in the Finnentrop district of Bamenohl and southeast of the core town of Finnentrop. It is surrounded by the buildings in Bamenohl. It was expelled in 2004 by the Arnsberg district government . The nature reserve is one of ten sub-areas of the fauna-flora-habitat area, beech forests, limestone semi -arid grasslands and rocks south of Finnentrop (DE-4813-301).
Protective reason
According to the specialist information system of the State Office for Nature, Environment and Consumer Protection in North Rhine-Westphalia (LANUV), it is one of the most species-rich and floristically significant Trespen-Schwingel- lime-lime lawns in the Attendorn-Elspe limestone basin and a species-rich hornbeam forest .
The sand lizard is found in the area.
