Bana Abu Sir ( Arabic Abu Sir ; Greek Busiris ) is today the name of a modern town in Lower Egypt , which is about 5 kilometers south of Abu Sir Bana . Bana Abu Sir is one of the six places that have so far been localized under the Greek name Busiris.

In ancient Egypt , Bana Abu Sir was in the ninth  Lower Egyptian district . Although the place has been mentioned several times, nothing is known about the ancient Egyptian history of Bana Abu Sir.
