Bandhagen is an above-ground station on the Stockholm subway . It is located in the Bandhagen district of the same name . The station is served by the Gröna linjen of the Stockholm subway system . The station belongs to the rather moderately frequented station of the subway network. On a normal winter working day, 3100 commuters get on here.
The station was opened on November 22, 1954, when the section of the Gröna linjen between Stureby and Högdalen was put into operation. The station is located between the Högdalen and Stureby stations . The platforms are above ground in an elevated position. It is about eight kilometers to Stockholm Central Station .
