Hässelby strand is an above-ground station on the Stockholm Metro . It is located in the Hässelby strand district of the same name . The station is served by the Gröna linjen of the Stockholm subway system . It is one of the less frequented stations on the underground network. On a normal working day, 5,000 commuters get on here.
The station was commissioned on November 18, 1958 as the 45th station of the Tunnelbana, when the Hässelby gård-Hässelby strand subway section was inaugurated. The station has two above-ground tracks. The station is the terminus of line T19 of the Gröne linjen. It is around fourteen kilometers to Stockholm Central Station .
