A tripper car or discharge car is a mobile device for diverting bulk material from a conveyor belt .

functionality

The tripper car guides the conveyor belt over an ascending conveyor roller track to a discharge drum, where the bulk material falls onto another conveyor belt or onto a chute, the receiving conveyor belt running over the discharging conveyor belt. The tripper car can be moved along the dispensing conveyor belt.
