Women's World Bandy Championship
The International Bandy Association FIB has been organizing world championships for women’s national teams in addition to the men's world championships since 2004 . The first host was Lappeenranta in Finland . Sweden won the first six world championships, with Russia taking silver in each case. In 2014 the Russians won for the first time before Sweden. Finland has won four bronze medals and Norway three so far.
