Bani (spelling variant: Banni ) is a town in the West African state of Gambia .
According to a calculation for 2013, around 1091 inhabitants live there, the result of the last published census from 1993 was 1051.

Bani is located in the North Bank Region in the Lower Baddibu District . The place is about 0.5 kilometers south of the North Bank Road between Gunjur and Nja Kunda .
