Banjo kitten ( Banjo the Woodpile Cat ) is a cartoon by Don Bluth from 1979. He was one of the first films of Don Bluth, which was broadcast especially on television because of its relatively short running time of 27 minutes.
action
Banjo is a little red cat who lives with his parents and two sisters in a haystack in Payson . Although he never means angry, his cheeky curiosity often gets him into uncomfortable situations. When his father reprimands him particularly harshly, Banjo feels that he has been treated unfairly and drives a truck to Salt Lake City as a stowaway . At first he likes it in the big city, but when it rains and he has to hide in a dark alley and has nothing to eat on top of that, he realizes how foolish he has acted. Fortunately, he meets the cute street cat Crazy Legs, who wants to help him with the help of the three cat singers Zazu, Melinda and Cleo. While looking for the truck, they have to flee from dogs and face other difficulties, among other things. When Banjo sleeps sadly one night, Crazy looks at the star-covered sky and silently asks God to send the truck over, for Banjo's sake, not his. This one really comes by the next morning, so that Banjo really manages to drive home. When he gets home, his family welcomes him warmly.
