Baptiste Geiler (born March 12, 1987 in Montpellier ) is a French volleyball player .

Career

Geiler is the son of former national players Brigitte Boulay and Christophe Geiler ; his brother Loïc Geiler also plays volleyball. He started his own career in 2004 with the Center national de volley-ball, the youth team of the French volleyball federation. In 2007 he moved to Montpellier UC . In 2008 the outside attacker reached the national cup final with the club in his hometown. In 2009 he became Vice European Champion with the French national team in Turkey . He then moved to Arago de Sète . In 2013 Geiler was signed by the German Bundesliga club VfB Friedrichshafen . In the 2014/15 season he won the national double from the German championship and DVV cup victory with VfB Friedrichshafen. In 2016 Geiler moved to Italy to work with Tonno Callipo Vibo Valentia .
