Barış Bakır (born June 30, 1984 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player .

Player career

Bakır was born in the Silivri district of Istanbul and started playing club football in the youth department of Galatasaray Istanbul . After two years he left the Istanbul team and then played for the clubs Gazitepe SK and Bodrumspor. In the summer of 2003 he began his professional career with the Istanbul third division club Yıldırım Bosnaspor . After playing here continuously for two seasons, Bakır was obliged by the first division club Denizlispor in the summer of 2007 . Without having completed a competitive match for Denizspor, he was loaned by this club to Akçaabat Sebatspor and then to Aydınspor . He then left the western Turkish club in spring 2007 and played for various second and third division clubs.

For the 2014/15 season he was signed by the second division Giresunspor . After just one season he left this club and returned to Sarıyer SK.
